Forests Alive was commissioned by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to develop an e learning course on how to combine Biotrade and REDD+ activities to provide a pathway for improving livelihoods for indigenous and local communities in developing countries who wish to protect their forests.

In 2015 we facilitated a course through the Australian Awards Fellowship program for the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) which explored opportunities and challenges to forest protection and management in the Melanesian region.

We provide technical training for those interested in calculating forest carbon stocks and educational programs to inform participants of the current science and policies around forest protection in Australia and internationally.

Our training materials can be custom designed to reflect the needs and goals of our clients.
